The strip is capable of emitting cool or warm light from 2,000K to 6,500K. Philips claims it should last for 20,000 hours of light-about two years of continuous use, or 20 years if turned on for three hours a day, seven days a week. The LightStrip Plus, rated IP20, can withstand humidity but is not waterproof, so keep it away from the sink or tub.
Users may also cut it to fit smaller spaces (at which point it cannot be lengthened).
